can pay your monthly bill with credit or debit cards. Call 1-800-218-6033 to pay
by phone or click here to pay
via the internet. It's quick, easy and secure. There is no application or enrollment
process, and you control when and how much you pay!
The service is available to all customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can
pay each month's bill in full or specify the amount you wish to pay that month.
The choice is up to you! A $3.95 transaction fee applies.

Q. What type of credit cards are accepted by Midwest Energy?
A. MasterCard, Visa, Discover and ATM debit card.
Q. How can I make a credit or debit card payment online?
A. Log onto the Midwest Energy website at
www.mwenergy.com and navigate to "Bills and Rate" -> "Payment
Options" -> "Credit, Debit & ATM cards". Midwest Energy will
accept payments by phone or online, using a credit card (MasterCard, Visa and Discover)
or ATM debit card.
Q. Can I make a payment by phone, using a credit card or ATM debit card?
A. Yes, you may call 1-800-218-6033, 24 hours a day, seven days
a week. No enrollment is required.
Q. How safe and secure is it to provide my credit card information?
A. The payment processing system used by Midwest Energy is compliant
with standards set by NACHA (The Electronic Payments Association) and PCI.
Q. What information do I need to make a payment by credit card?
A. The following information is needed:
- Your Midwest Energy 8-digit account number.
- The dollar amount you wish to pay.
- The credit card or ATM debit card number.
- Your security code located on the back of your card in the signature strip. It is
at least 3 digits and is always printed after your card number.
- Month/year expiration date.
- Zip code where the card statement is mailed.
Q. What confirmation do I receive when I make a card payment?
A. You will receive a confirmation number that appears on a separate
page after you submit your online payment. We encourage you to wait after you submit
your online payment for the confirmation page to load and to record the confirmation
number or print the page for your records. You will also receive a confirmation
number if you make a card payment by phone.
Q. Can I retrieve my confirmation number if I did not record it at the time
I made my payment?
A. Yes. You can call 1-800-218-6033 to receive the confirmation
number.
Q. When will the payment be posted on my account?
A. Card payments will be posted to your account by the end of the
next business day.
Q. Whom should I contact if I have a questions or problems?
A. Contact Midwest Energy at 1-800-222-3121, Monday-Friday, 8:00
am - 6:00 pm, Saturday, 8:00 am - Noon (Central Time Zone).
Q. Does Midwest Energy charge my account for making a payment by credit
or debit card?
A. There is a fee of $3.95 per transaction paid to BillMatrix for
processing the payment. Midwest Energy will not receive any portion of the transaction
fee.
