Gas Transport Program
The Distribution Transportation Service Program allows you the opportunity to choose a natural gas supplier, other than Midwest Energy, Inc. (MWE), to provide your natural gas needs. The supplier you choose will bring the gas supply to MWE's distribution system. MWE will continue to deliver this gas through our distribution system to your meter as well as read your meter, invoice you per your selected billing option, and respond to any natural gas emergency.
When selecting your natural gas supplier, feel free to contact any or all of the suppliers on the Qualified Suppliers list. After you have selected a natural gas supplier and contracted your gas supply needs, you will need to complete and submit to MWE a "Transportation Affidavit". Once MWE receives your completed Transportation Affidavit we will contact the selected supplier to confirm your choice and begin the process of getting your account switched to our Distribution Transportation Service Program.

This program is available to all accounts on MWE's distribution system except for residential accounts.
