MWE Announces 2025 Youth Tour Winners

The Midwest Energy Board of Directors has selected two high school juniors to attend the annual National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) Youth Tour in Washington D.C., this June. Those students are:

Broady Goetz, Wheatland High School 
Dominic Hernandez, Kansas Academy of Math and Science

The Board of Directors also awarded 18 scholarships to high school seniors. This is an increase from the 10 scholarships awarded in previous years. These $1,000 scholarships are paid directly to the student. The scholarship winners are:

Veronica Catano, Scott Community High School
Ethan Chumley, Rawlins County High School
Campbell Coleman, Ellinwood High School

Graeden Deines, Trego High School
Carmen Holguin, Kinsley High School
Cole Keeten, Phillipsburg High School
Kallyn Meyers, Hays High School
Jace Miller, Scott Community High School
Ansley Moellering, Oakley Sr. High
Allison Rippe, Rawlins County High School
Grace Schmeidler, Thomas-More Prep Marian High School
James Seeman, Larned High School
Guy Tubbs, Colby High School
