NOTE: We need a minimum of 24 hours notice to start service Monday - Friday and we are closed on weekends and holidays. Please do not submit this application prior to 14 days of the date you would like service connected.
Appointment Details
Gas meters may have been shut off, and it may be necessary for us to gain access to the home to re-light pilot lights. Someone will need to meet us at the residence so we may enter the home to relight.
A service tech will contact you with appointment time for the relight.

The deposit is based on the two-month average for the new service location. Deposits are charged to the account in four installments, with the first due up front and the remaining three installments on the first three bills.

Deposits may be waived by providing one of the following items:
  • A letter of credit from your previous electric or gas utility reflecting good payment history (no more than two late payments in the last 12 months). Letters of credit can be faxed to 785-783-5621.
  • A current customer of Midwest Energy, Inc., with a good credit standing can sign as a Third Party Guarantor for the new member.
